Dr. med. Christian Metz – Board-Certified Specialist in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery in Munich
Dr. med. Christian Metz is a board-certified specialist in Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery with his own practice in Munich-Haidhausen. He has been active in plastic surgery since 1999 and has specialized in aesthetic surgery of the face and breast. His treatment approach is tailored individually to each patient and is grounded in many years of national and international experience, as well as ongoing professional training.
Medical Expertise
Dr. Christian Metz brings many years of hands-on expertise and specialization across all areas of plastic surgery. He studied human medicine at several leading universities, including Heidelberg University, the University of Mannheim, and the Technical University of Munich, as well as at UCLA School of Medicine in Los Angeles, USA. During his many years of specialist training in plastic surgery, Dr. Metz trained at renowned centers of excellence in plastic surgery under, among others, Prof. Dr. med. Johannes Bruck (Berlin), Prof. Dr. med. Milomir Ninkovic (Munich), Prof. Dr. med. Ulrich Lanz (Bad Neustadt/Saale), Dr. med. Constanze Neuhann-Lorenz (Munich), and Malcolm Lesavoy, MD, FACS (Los Angeles).
Dr. Metz has been active in plastic surgery since 1999. From 2008 to 2017, he served as Senior Consultant and, most recently, Acting Head of the Department of Plastic, Aesthetic and Hand Surgery at Kreisklinik Ebersberg.
He regularly expands his expertise at national and international medical conferences and through professional exchange with colleagues in Germany and abroad.
Dr. Metz is the author of the roughly 90-minute documentary film "Sehnsucht nach Schönheit" ("Longing for Beauty"), exploring global beauty trends. The film has been screened at numerous international film festivals and broadcast multiple times on German television (ARD/BR). Dr. Metz is also regularly sought after as an expert by the press and television on topics in plastic and aesthetic surgery, including Cosmopolitan, Vogue, TOP Magazin München, and ARD alpha.
His latest expert article was published in the magazine "Ärzte.de": "Facelift after weight loss or weight-loss injection: What really helps with "Ozempic Fame"?"
